That Scares Me!

Frankie has several cute phrases right now. We can't capture our favorite on video (ebonic-ly saying "That not my 'ouse" whenever he goes to someone else's home) but this one's pretty cute, too. I think Lexi started it by saying it scared her when McGee ran past so quickly and Frankie caught on quickly!

Yes, we know it's unsafe but Henry LOVES cruisin' in his walker! He chases the kids, dog, and even us and is much easier to live with now that he has freedom!

Step Right Up!

On a cold, snowy Friday the kids decided to brush up on their "Pop Toss" skills. It's never too early to get a jump on school carnival season!

Yes, Aunt Roo, those are the stacking rings you so lovingly chose for Henry's Christmas gift. Don't worry, though, he was busy chewing on construction paper so he didn't mind sharing!

Yes, folks, we have a contract on the house! Their inspection will be Monday at 2pm. As long as that goes well, the house is SOLD!

"That Mine!"

Frankie's really into possessions right now and, of course, he thinks everything belongs to him (including Daddy's shoes!). When we sat down to lunch today, he pointed at the big plate of fried chicken and said, "That mine!". Daddy corrected him and said, "No, Son, that's MINE!"

Lexi's preschool does a great job putting on mini-programs for the parents at each holiday. They only last about 4 minutes but they sure are cute!

On the topic of songs . . .

We were driving home, rocking out to "The Wise Man Built His House Upon the Rock" (because who needs Beastie Boys when you have "100 Bible Songs for Kids"?). When the lyrics say, "So build your house on the Lord", Lexi said, "Sorry, Jesus . . . We're building ours in a neighborhood."

Oh no . . . SNOW!

You all know I hate snow - I'm terrified to drive (and even walk) in it plus it messes up my running schedule and forces me to the dreaded treadmill.

even I will admit it was really neat to see Lexi make her first snowman, or rather, "snow GIRL"!
