It's a Wrap!

Today marked the end of Frankie's U6 soccer season!  He's learned a lot about the game and has his foot on the ball all the time at home (my sofa often serves as "goal"!).  He can't wait until he starts again in the Fall, although Dad and I are looking forward to the time off!  Go Jedi! (Yes, that's their team name!)

Lexi and a friend entertain themselves during the game!

Mr. Random

Sweet Henry.
Sweet, Clueless Henry.
The most random comments come from your mouth every day.  I just wish I had a witness for the awesomeness!

"You know why I love birds?  Because they eat "waspes"".  That statement is odd for so many reasons.  It's even more odd when you consider he was in the bathtub at the time.  No birds nor "waspes" in sight!

Today while swinging: "I like inside better than outside.  It has more food."  True, unless you're Barley.  She thinks outside has plenty of food: grass, mulch, gravel!

We love you, Henry, randomness and all!

What consumes our every waking (and, let's be honest, SLEEPING) moment

The Saturday after Easter, Lexi and I drove 4.5 hours (each way!) to Oklahoma to pick up 8 week old Whippet puppy, Barley!  She's potty training quite quickly and (fingers crossed) this second round of antibiotics will kick her diarrhea for good!  She's a total lover, which earned her sleeping privileges in the kennel when Mom broke down after a week of incessant face licking at 2AM.  Her favorite activities include licking everything in sight, snuggling in her dog bed, and sunning herself on the deck!  We're smitten already!

I had to let her chew on mulch or she'd attack the camera
whenever I got close!
