Spring Break 2014

What a wonderful 10 days off we've had!  We got to spend several days with Aunt Shanna, Mom and Dad celebrated 10 years of marriage, enjoyed a picnic at the park, and enjoyed relaxing together!

Breakfast Suicide!

Henry's quite an expert at cereal suicides!  Every morning he bring me an armload of cereal boxes to be mixed IN THE SAME BOWL!  I was grossed out one morning mixing Strawberry Miniwheats, Peanut Butter Puffs, and Fruity Pebbles when Frank pointed out that I mix two kinds of Kashi cereal every morning. Of course, Grandma has always mixed cereal: a box of Frosted Flakes was never guaranteed to actually BE Frosted Flakes!  I guess he learned from the best!

Inaugural Sleepover!

 Frank was invited to his first ever sleepover Friday night.  He could barely breathe, he was so excited!  His friend had scripted out the evening including a dinner of spaghetti and meatballs, a wild dance party, stuffed animal play, and sleeping in a tent in the basement.  While they didn't make it in the basement, he made it all night and was sad to leave in the morning!

He was exhausted all day Saturday which led to some caveman-ish behavior (although I think even cavemen didn't wet their pants while playing Xbox and then sit in it for 20 minutes before noticing!) but, after a good night of sleep on Saturday, he was back to normal!

In the words of my mother: How ya gonna keep 'em down on the farm now that he's experienced a sleepover?!
