Daddy/Daughter Dreaminess!

After being announced, they walked down the red carpet and the magical evening began!  Lexi was all decked out with dangly earrings and a wrist corsage!  In addition to the expected Daddy/Daughter Dance offerings, they did a hula-hoop song (just the daughters, not the dads!), photo booth, craft table, and had refreshments!  She looked gorgeous (but a little old!) and had a wonderful time with a wonderful dad!

Winter Break #3

 After just two days of school, the kids were off again for conferences!  We had big plans this time: indoor trampoline time at Cosmic Jump, the boys' first time roller skating, even a visit to Great-Grandpa Bud!
Needless to say, Mom was ready to get back into a routine when Tuesday rolled around!

Winter Break #2

The kids were IN school 3 out of 14 days between snow days, inservice, conferences, and President's Day!  It was Winter Break #2 (snow days) and #3 (conferences)!

We were stuck inside the first two snow days but did manage to make snow ice cream (cream, sugar, vanilla, snow!)  We had lunch delivered by a train at Fritz's on the inservice day.

The two days back at school were jam-packed with Valentine's Day parties and Lexi's rescheduled Bugz Program.  She was a beautiful butterfly!  Grandma and Grandpa came to Chinese Buffet with us before the play (because every special occasion deserves crab rangoon!)
