Several weeks ago Lexi told us we had a bird's nest in the backyard with four eggs in it. We've watched Mama Robin sit on her nest and she was quite patient with us. Frankie was too curious with one of the eggs and learned that "blue egg yucky" when he squished it. I was so afraid we'd caused Mama Robin to orphan the other 3 eggs but the next day she was back!
Today we were thrilled to see . . .
Three tiny newborn baby birds in the nest! Frankie made me hold each of his four treasured plastic "guys" up to see the birds!

that's awesome! sam was excited to even find a broken egg! I can't wait to tell him about this. and i'm sure the pretend guys loved the view!
