What's in-between a sleepover and no sleepover?

The answer?  A "half-sleepover"!  

Lexi has a few friends reluctant to sleep away from home despite her pleading.    

Frankie REALLY wants to have a sleepover but 5 years old is just too young.

After a few teary phone calls home at midnight for a ride home, we had to come up with an alternative.

So, despite the blizzard, three friends came over from 5:30-8:30 for a "half-sleepover".  All sleepover fun . . . Back home safely for sleeping!

We ate pizza . . .

2 large pizzas/6 kids = 1.5 leftover pieces!

Watched movies (separate for the girls and boys, of course!), ate cookies and popcorn . . .

Watching Spiderman in pjs

Drinking strawberry milk (Emma's hiding under the blanket-hat!)

And had a wonderful time (with no tears!) . . .
